Rockin' it Out - Literally

Recently, I had a session with a family whose parents, quite literally, used to be rock stars.

After their session, I beg to argue that they STILL are rock stars!

I had a FANTASTIC time, and they rocked it out for the camera, which resulted in some really fun images.  These are not "standard posed" portrait images - and I seriously love them for being completely unique in front of the lens.  My FAVORITE!

I mean seriously?  How adorable are these two?

 Their sense of humor with each other was so fun:

Then, this lovely mom busts out with this beautiful insight into her love for her little boy:

The lil' guy joined in on this too.  Wanted to photoshop a pirate hat and eye patch on this SO badly:

Don't worry.  I refrained.

Even the teenager smiled - I will not reveal how I made this happen!

Not to fret, we got a standard family portrait as well:

I love families who are "real" for me in front of the lens.  It makes it extremely fun and almost TOO easy to capture some unique and special moments for their portraits!
