Lil' Luke

Ya know, I do not blog much because it takes much more time than posting on Facebook.  I prefer Facebook because I get to interact with my client base and that is just so much more rewarding to me!  I love getting to know you!

However, I do know that blogging keeps everyone up to date!  Also, it is a chance for me to talk about my favorite subject - all things photo related!

So here we go!

I had an amazing time photographing my latest newborn, Luke.  He was an absolute champ and fell asleep after he had some quality Mommy time!  

I just love that last picture!  He was completely happy and out for the count!

For newborn sessions, I plan to be there 3-4 hours.  THREE TO FOUR HOURS YOU SAY!??!

That's what Luke's Mama said too!

Many newborns need time to settle down and get comfortable before they fall asleep.  As you moms know, that just doesn't happen in 5 minutes.  When I say I will be there awhile - I mean it!

Luke's Mama said to me, "Ya know, when we went to Sears for my oldest - we had ONE hour.  Period. Our pictures were horrendous and he cried the whole time."

Well, I would too if I was new to the world and all of a sudden people were moving me around and flashing large lights at me and there was someone strange and cold behind the camera.

I get it.

With La Lume, your baby gets patience.  Your newest little one is the boss of our session.  We're happy when he/she is happy - no matter how long it takes!

I love it when my clients get it!  Loved Luke and can't wait to see him grow with his lovely family!
