Blog Series - Photography Crafts!



Hi Everyone!

As part of my effort to cover more things on my blog and post more often, I am starting a series on Photography crafts!

I'll be covering anything from children's crafts to adult crafts!

First up, is an interesting idea I found on Disney Family Fun, which is my favorite kids' activity magazine.

Basically, you take a silhouette picture of your child.  Print it up at an appropriate size.  Cut out the pattern and use it along with scrapbook paper to create what you see above!

I've been wanting to do something similar to this, except just with a white background and a black silhouette.  I first saw it in Jefferson's Monticello in his book room and I've been dying to recreate it ever since.  You can see just a tiny teeny little bit of what it might look like in this picture below.  Look at the series of silhouettes framed to the left of the bookcase on the right.


Ahhh...well, you get the idea!  :)
