Maternity + Crew

A couple of Sundays ago, I got a chance to visit, I mean take pictures of, a great family, who is expecting their third baby girl!

It was a gorgeous day with beautiful light.  It was a family full of laughter and good jokes!  It was a family with 2 gals who LOVED the camera.  Thank goodness our Mommy-to-be wanted pictures of everyone in her family celebrating this expectant time in their history!

Before every one of my sessions, I pray.  I pray for a lot of trivial things and a lot of real things.  I pray for the children to open up and show me who they really are.  I pray that the family feels comfortable with me behind the camera, documenting their lives.  I always pray for good light.  

Last, but not least, I pray that if God really wants me to do this with my life - to help me have a good session.  Make me remain humble and focused.  That all I am - is someone behind a camera, hoping to capture a small glimpse of all the beautiful blessings God has placed on this earth.

I hope in these images - I do a little bit of that.

To the "H" family - Thank you for "bringing it" on that Sunday.  Thank you for rocking it out in front of the camera.  And thank you for letting me be there to capture it.
