"I" Family Photoshoot

I had a fantastic time hiking with the "I" family on a windy Sunday not too long ago!  Luckily, we were hiking deep in the woods, so we do not have a ton of supermodel type pictures with windblown hair.

I love hiking - and combining that with a photoshoot - is a perfect way for me to spend a day during the weekend!

These 3 kids - they were an active bunch!  It was a bit challenging to get everyone looking at the camera...and that can be stressful for everyone involved - mom/photographer/kids/dad alike!

But I think the thing to remember throughout all of this is that it is not always necessary to capture that picture perfect - everyone smiling at the camera - posing exactly so - picture.  In fact, I prefer the wild and un-posed nature of these kind of shoots too.  I love capturing their spirits, whatever that might be that day!

So, to my "I" family:  I hope you love these pictures as much as I  enjoyed taking them!  Your family is full of gorgeous personalities, and I would want for the pictures to reflect that about them!  So without further ado, a teeny tiny sneak peak of your photoshoot.
